Travel Insurance Options with Rental Guardian
We get that unexpected things or events can come up when you’re trying to plan a vacation. That’s why we’ve partnered with Rental Guardian to provide you with comprehensive travel insurance options. Rental Guardian travel insurance helps you protect your travel investment and allows you to relax knowing that you’re covered.
Rental Guardian offers two travel insurance plans for your vacation at Hilton Head Island. Both plans provide extensive trip coverage when the unexpected arises before or even during your travels to protect your trip investment.
Standard Plan: 30+ Covered Events
The retail price for the standard plan is equivalent to 7% of Trip Cost. This plan covers 100% of non-refundable trip costs if you must cancel your trip or cut it short due to one of 30+ covered reasons listed in the policy. Covered reasons include:
- Sickness
- Injury
- Hurricane
- Natural Disaster
- Travel Interruption
- Flight Cancellation
- Job Loss
- Emergency Medical Expense
- And More
The standard plan also includes a 24/7/365 emergency assistance hotline to help answer questions and assist you.
Cancel for Any Reason Plan (CFAR)
The retail price for the CFAR plan is equivalent to 10.8% of Trip Cost. This plan includes all the benefits of the standard plan, covering 100% of non-refundable trip costs if you must cancel your trip or cut it short due to one of the 30+ covered reasons listed in the policy. Also included is the Cancel for Any Reason benefit that provides 60% reimbursement if you have to cancel your trip for any reason not listed in the standard plan.
Please note that CFAR cancellation must occur more than 2 day prior to your scheduled arrival. This benefit is not available to residents of WA and NY.
