Immerse yourself in the ultimate beach experience at our charming A-frame surf shack, an iconic 1967 bungalow that has been thoughtfully renovated for a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern comfort. Located just a stone's throw away from the private beach access (less than 100 steps!), this pet-friendly retreat in North Forest Beach captures the essence of coastal living. Enjoy the convenience of a short walk or bike ride (0.6 miles) to Coligny Plaza, a bustling hub offering shopping, dining, nightlife, and family entertainment.

Step into the distinctive A-frame design, evident in the photos where the walls seamlessly follow the roof line, creating a unique, quaint, and beachy atmosphere. Recent renovations ensure cleanliness and comfort throughout. The spacious kitchen, with its generous countertops and cabinets, is well-equipped with all your cooking essentials, setting the stage for delightful culinary adventures.

On the first floor, a bedroom off the living room/kitchen beckons with a Full and King bed, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a mini-tub/shower. The bathroom features new amenities, including a vanity, sink, faucet, mirror, and light fixture. Please note that the two cozy upstairs bedrooms, accessible via a narrow spiral staircase, may not be suitable for very young children. Each upstairs room offers a bean bag and a bunk bed with a Full Size mattress on the lower bunk and a Twin mattress on the upper bunk, connected by a Jack & Jill Bathroom with a walk-in shower and a corner sink and faucet.

The main level presents a spacious living/dining area and kitchen, thoughtfully designed for comfort. The dining table accommodates six guests, supplemented by a bar seating four. Two distinct living areas provide ample space for relaxation, TV time, and family board games. A screened-in porch at the rear offers additional seating and surfboard storage, housing the washer and dryer. The front of the home boasts a new paver patio with an outdoor pub table and grill, perfect for al fresco dining. The side patio features Adirondack chairs and a gas firepit, creating a cozy ambiance for s'mores and ocean-inspired relaxation. An outdoor shower at the rear completes this quintessential beach retreat.

"Surf Cottage Heaven!! Our stay at 5 Lark St. was amazing! The house is literally steps to the beach. The house, an older beach house, was well adorned and clean. The furniture and layout of the home was comfortable and easy for our family. The kitchen was spacious and covered all of our needs. The firepit and grill area were used daily and are super quaint and comfortable. We also spent time on the screened back porch and stored our surf boards in the surf rack on the back deck. The kids loved the hanging chairs by the firepit. We STRONGLY recommend this little A-frame surf cottage to anyone who appreciates the beach and coziness!!

"Our family had a great time staying here with our pups! We had the beach at our fingertips as well as easy walking distance to Coligny Plaza where all the restaurants and shops are located.
